The challenge
Insurtech brand Rubber Ring needed to develop a new tone of voice to launch the new business and to maintain a consistent tone throughout the website copy and content, including customer-facing blogs and articles. Getting the full team around a table to discuss tone of voice was going to be tricky - so they needed a dedicated time and space to get everyone’s thoughts flowing.
The solution
After completing a brand pyramid to get their creative juices flowing, I visited Rubber Ring in person to deliver a half-day brainstorming tone of voice workshop. At the beginning of the session, the team scaled their confidence with tone of voice. With exercises, thinking points and a training deck, I helped the team gather and streamlining their thoughts around tone of voice for both B2B and B2C audiences. At the end of the workshop, the team scaled their confidence again, and they had all gained more confidence. After the workshop, I built out their tone of voice into a deck and gave them examples, use cases, and practical tips on how to apply the tone of voice.
